I purchased
my first Ridgeback in 2003. I have been fortunate enough through CBARRC to meet
many outstanding people who have displayed their compassion and shared with me their knowledge of this wonderful breed. Over the past two years, as an officer in CBARRC, I have helped plan events all of
the club events such as the Fun Days, Herding Days and supported shows. I would reallly like to see our membership continue
to grow with active, involved members. I would also like to increase the number of events we offer to
accomodate our growing membership and satisfy the needs of everyone. As members, we should not only preserve the club’s current standing, but more importantly, improve
it’s service to the Ridgeback community.
I enjoy spending time with my husband,
Tom and our two RR's, Fletcher and Maddy in Summit Point, WV. I participate with both dogs in conformation, lure
coursing and training events. Three years ago, I made a decision to pursue my passion and work with dogs full time.
I left the marketing field after almost ten years to go to school and apprentice to be dog trainer. In
2006, I was fortunate enough to begin my own private training business. Both of our dogs work as my 'demo
dogs', so they earn their keep! When I am not busy with training, I enjoy hiking with the dogs, traveling,
and am a huge Terps fan!
